Membership covers over 850 members in the EU, as well as in Switzerland, Japan ans United States

Most of our members are wholesalers, importers and exporters of milk and dairy products, but many of them are also involved in milk processing, product packaging, second stage processing and other related activities.

There are three types of members:

• FULL members are national organisations within the EU. Affiliated companies are de facto members of Eucolait via these national organisations.
• DIRECT members are individual companies in EU countries without a national organisation.
• ASSOCIATE members are organisations or companies generally from countries outside the EU.

If you wish to become a member the procedure is the following:

• if you are based in a Member State of the EU where there is already a national dairy trade federation which is full member of Eucolait, you apply for membership at the federation of your country;
• if you are based in a Member State of the EU where there is no national dairy trade federation member of Eucolait, you apply for direct membership at the Eucolait secretariat in Brussels;
• if you are not based in a Member State of the EU, you apply for associate membership at the Eucolait secretariat in Brussels.

The precondition for becoming a member is that you are somehow active in dairy trade.
