WTO notifications on national legislative changes concerning dairy products

All members of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) are required to notify changes in their national legislation to the WTO which may potentially create non-tariff barriers to trade. These so-called SPS (sanitary and phytosanitary) and TBT (technical barriers to trade) notifications refer for example to changes in national dairy standards. WTO members can usually submit comments within a period of 60 days to react to the changes. In this context, Eucolait has the opportunity to contribute to the comments submitted by the EU.
